No I think for the Dems it’s more about an irrationally extreme fear of Trump, though Clinton certainly helped manufacture that. For the deep state it’s more about a power grab against the Russia-China tandem than getting Trump impeached, and they just use the Dems’ desire to impeach Trump to manufacture support for that.
