Doesn’t work that way. Standard journalistic protocol requires a paper to disclose any conflicts of interests in the articles they publish; that’s why all articles on the presidential campaign by the New York Observer contained a disclosure at the bottom that Jared Kushner is Donald Trump’s son-in-law up until Kushner left the paper, for example. The fact that WaPo has written articles about Rogers’ conflict of interest only proves that they knew they were violating this standard practice.

I write about the end of illusions.
