Clinton people often have a deeply dissociated relationship with the word “hawkish”, which is why they’ll even use it to imply that Hillary isn’t so bad. When you say “hawkish”, you are referring to children getting their guts ripped out by cluster bombs. You are talking about all the needless death, destruction, suffering, rape, slavery, terrorism, displacement and horror that necessarily goes hand-in-hand with senseless acts of war. You are referring not just to something that is insane, but to the single most insane thing that human beings do.
