Again, not an invasion if the people invite them in. Our disagreement lies in our values — you place “international law” and the rights of a nation to maintain the integrity of its boundaries above the will of the people, and I don’t. There are no nations without the consent of the governed. There is no Ukraine without the consent of the governed. National borders and international laws are just mental constructs that only have power and value if the people agree to lend it to them. In the case of Crimea, they did not.
